WE ARE REQUIRED TO TRIAGE ALL VISITORS FULLY BY PHONE AT TIME OF BOOKING AND DAY OF APPOINTMENT SO PLEASE BEAR WITH US AS WE FOLLOW SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES WITH THIS AND ANY HYGIENE/SAFETY MEASURES PUT IN PLACE. YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY.
ALL STAFF ARE IN PPE AND TIME IN THE TEST ROOM IS LIMITED DUE FOR YOUR SAFETY. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON TIME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT AND YOU MAY HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE.
LIMITED TO ONE PERSON AT A TIME AS OF 26th JUNE WE ARE STILL OPERATING A CLOSED DOOR POLICY. IF YOU REQUIRE TO BE ACCOMPANIED THEN PLEASE ADVISE US IN ADVANCE.
ALERT – PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE IF YOU SUSPECT IN ANY WAY THAT YOU MAY BE ILL OR IN A HOUSEHOLD WITH SUSPECTED CASE. Your temperature will be checked on arrival (on approval), we will require you to sanitise your hands and wear a mask unless you have medical proof of why you cannot.
Through July/August we are still only be open part time hours and are allowed to deal with emergency and essential eyecare and eyewear and also symptomatic patients whether overdue or not. We can repair or replace glasses and contact lenses even with an out of date prescription for now. We will contact overdue patients as we are released into the next phase by the government.
WE REALLY DO HOPE TO BE ABLE TO RESUME A LESS RESTRICTED SERVICE VERY SOON. JUST CALL FOR MORE CLARITY WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING WE CAN TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE WE CAN UNDER THESE RESTRICTIONS.
